Coffin Inscription:

The arrangement for the columns are read right to left and we know this by reading into the glyphs as if you are speaking with the figures, and animals etc. These inscriptions are facing the same direction as the corresponding figure associated with it. Here are provided the Transliteration (TRL), Egyptology Speak (ES), and Translation (TRS) for each column:

Column 1:

ES: ‘inek benew kheper djes ef sa-ek mer-ek makey ee-ee en em sau hat’

TRS: “I am Benu who came into being. Your son, your beloved defender who comes to protect your body,”

Column 2:

ES: ‘ek er der hewerew her khat-ek er dit ankh er neheh en ba-ek djet her khat-ek’

TRS: “to expel miseries from your body, to give life til eternity on your soul, and forever upon your body.”

ES: ’benew heka imentet’

TRS: “Benu, the ruler of the west.”

Column 4:

ES: ‘inek hapi sa-ek mer-ek makey ee-ee en wenen em sau-ek er der khafewt’

TRS: “I am Hapi your son, your beloved protector who came into existence for your protection, to expel all your enemies”

ES: ‘ek neb em duat djet redi shesep-ek hetepew djet mi netcherew nebew maaty’

TRS: “from the netherworld so that you may receive your offerings forever like all the gods of the hall of two truths.”

ES: ‘imesti neb imentet’

TRS: “Imseti, lord of the west”

TRS: “I am Benu who came into being. Your son, your beloved defender who comes to protect your body,to expel miseries from your body, to give life til eternity on your soul, and forever upon your body. – Benu, the ruler of the west.”

TRS: “I am Hapi your son, your beloved protector who came into existence for your protection, to expel all your enemies from the netherworld so that you may receive your offerings forever like all the gods of the hall of two truths – Imseti, lord of the west.”
